Thanks for visiting my bio. My name is Marra, owner/hairstylist of Grey Rose Salon. I have been in the industry for 20+ years. I got my start while attending The Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Industrial Design and Special Effects makeup; never hesitate to ask to see my son's Halloween costumes. I love doing all types of hair color but absolutely love cutting hair: pixies, shags and curls are my favorites. I love empowering people and making them feel whatever their beautiful is. I have recently embarked on the next chapter of life as a salon owner. I am so incredibly fortunate that I have seven amazing women and two special men (Evan, my right-hand, and Grey, my beautiful son) who have chosen to embark on this journey with me. If we were in person, I would greet you with a huge smile. My name is Natalie, I got into the beauty industry 25+ years ago to make people feel good about themselves. Little did I know, they would also make me feel good just by getting to know them. Can you say BOB, it's my favorite haircut and the one I’m most known for. I also love all types of coloring and foiling techniques. Seeing a client leave feeling beautiful in the end is so gratifying knowing I helped create that. I am a proud mom of three kids, Dylan, Tyler, and Georgia (also known as the "shop assistant" when she’s there). In my free time, I love hanging out with my kids and my boyfriend Rod, trying different restaurants, going to concerts, and traveling. I love working in an environment with supportive, like-minded people and love spending time with them not only at work but outside of work too. HIIIII! My name is Jess! I always say, “I’ve lived many lives.” And while that may be true, this current life is my favorite. I’ve always loved doing hair and that love has grown into a passion since I started behind the chair! I love looking at a canvas and being given an opportunity to enhance it, and hopefully, allow both of us to walk away from the experience a little lighter and with a little more pep in our step. When I’m not at the salon, you can usually find me working with The Heritage Players as their Make Up and Hair Designer. I also LOVE running (and racing) and spending time at home on my couch with my guy and my pups while reading a good book. Hi!! My name is Summer, and I’d love to do your hair! I've had a passion for hair since I was little, so I decided to go to Beattie and begin my career early. Hi friend!! I'm Emily. I've been in the hair industry for 12+ years. I originally got into the industry because I don’t stop talking for long enough to work in an office and felt that I’d be better suited in a social atmosphere. I love that I get to connect with clients, it’s truly the best part of my job. My favorite services to do are color and foiling, as well as cutting and styling curly hair. I enjoy spending time with my husband, Austin and my little dog, Jasper. At this time, I am not taking new clients but am hopeful to eventually reopen my book.

I got my start in the cosmetology industry as a young adult looking for a way to learn a skill that never goes out of style. I love this industry because it is ever-changing. Heyo, my name is Heather, also known as Snowball (it’s my last name). I have my Bachelor’s in Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University. I’ve been marketing in the beauty industry for 4+ years. Most of the time, you’ll see me at the front desk while I’m multitasking working on Grey Rose’s marketing from this website, the postcards, emails, social media & more. So if you ever see me on my phone, I’m probably creating, editing, or posting something. Some of my interests outside of work entail binge-watching sci-fi/fantasy TV shows, running, and going to concerts with my friends.
