Thanks for visiting my bio. My name is Marra, owner/hairstylist of Grey Rose Salon. I have been in the industry for 20+ years. I got my start while attending The Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Industrial Design and Special Effects makeup; never hesitate to ask to see my son's Halloween costumes. I love doing all types of hair color but absolutely love cutting hair: pixies, shags and curls are my favorites. I love empowering people and making them feel whatever their beautiful is. I have recently embarked on the next chapter of life as a salon owner. I am so incredibly fortunate that I have seven amazing women and two special men (Evan, my right-hand, and Grey, my beautiful son) who have chosen to embark on this journey with me. Hey friends! My name is Jasmine, I have been in the beauty industry for 12+ years. I got my start by attending Beattie Tech and quickly fell in love with making people laugh, helping them feel good about themselves, and seeing them leave more confident and a little lighter than they came in. My ideal day at the salon includes any kind of color service, and I love working with shorter hairstyles. If we were in person, I would greet you with a huge smile. My name is Natalie, I'm a stylist at Grey Rose Salon. I got into the beauty industry 25+ years ago to make people feel good about themselves. Little did I know, they would also make me feel good just by getting to know them. Can you say BOB, it's my favorite haircut and the one I’m most known for. I also love all types of coloring and foiling techniques. Seeing a client leave feeling beautiful in the end is so gratifying knowing I helped create that. I am a proud mom of three kids, Dylan, Tyler, and Georgia (also known as the "shop assistant" when she’s there). In my free time, I love hanging out with my kids and my boyfriend Rod, trying different restaurants, going to concerts, and traveling. I love working in an environment with supportive, like-minded people and love spending time with them not only at work but outside of work too. HIIIIII! My name is Jess, a stylist at Grey Rose Salon. I got into the beauty industry after having a handful of lives/other careers and I haven’t looked back since. My specialties are not limited, but I love blonding services and vivids; think any color of the rainbow and more. I got you. I also have a passion for event hair. I have been working with the Heritage Players since 2024 making all their hair visions come to life for plays such as MacBeth and Charlotte's Web. I love that people trust and feel safe with me with both their hair and their secrets. Making everyone feel a little more confident when they leave is extremely rewarding. On my off time, I love running, spending time with my babies Penny and Parker (the cutest pitties in the WORLD), and hanging out with my friends and boyfriend, Kev. Hello, my name is Summer, nice to meet you. I'm a stylist at Grey Rose Salon. Ask me how Marra hired me long ago, it's a fun story. I've had a passion for hair since I was a little girl. I loved creativity from the beginning, which led me to Beattie Tech when I was in high school. I especially love all blonding and lived-in color services and beaded row extensions. My favorite haircut has always been a short pixie cut. I'm so lucky that I get to do what I love every day and see how happy people are when I make them feel their best. In my free time, I love continuing my education, running, and spending time with my family, friends and Peanut, my fuzzy baby. I even got Peanut tattooed on me. Hi friend!! I'm Emily. I've been in the hair industry for 12+ years. I originally got into the industry because I don’t stop talking for long enough to work in an office and felt that I’d be better suited in a social atmosphere. I love that I get to connect with clients, it’s truly the best part of my job. My favorite services to do are color and foiling, as well as cutting and styling curly hair. I enjoy spending time with my husband, Austin and my little dog, Jasper. At this time, I am not taking new clients but am hopeful to eventually reopen my book.

I got my start in the cosmetology industry as a young adult looking for a way to learn a skill that never goes out of style. I love this industry because it is ever-changing. Heyo, my name is Heather, also known as Snowball (it’s my last name). I’m so grateful Marra asked me to join her on her journey. She never lets me forget to stay confident in my work! I have my Bachelor’s in Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University. I’ve been marketing in the beauty industry for 4+ years. Most of the time, you’ll see me behind the front desk while I’m multitasking working on Grey Rose’s marketing from this website, the postcards, emails, social media & more. So if you ever see me on my phone, I’m probably creating, editing, or posting something. Some of my interests outside of work entail binge-watching sci-fi/fantasy TV shows, signing up for 5k+ races with the Grey Rose runners, and going to concerts with my friends.
